Barista

Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join our coffee shop team. The ideal candidate enjoys creating great coffee experiences, takes pride in presentation, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about coffee, enjoys interacting with people, and can maintain consistency in quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages to standard recipes
• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and equipment
• Ensure proper handling of ingredients and adherence to hygiene standards
• Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with basic inventory checks and restocking supplies
• Provide recommendations and respond to customer inquiries in a helpful manner
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is an advantage
• Strong interest in coffee preparation and willingness to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Positive attitude, reliability, and team spirit
• Basic numeracy skills for handling orders and transactions
