Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other menu beverages to established standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments efficiently.
• Provide friendly, attentive service while responding to customer requests.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked coffee preparation area.
• Monitor ingredient levels and replenish supplies when necessary.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and help resolve service issues.
• Support colleagues during busy periods to maintain smooth service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a coffee shop environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso extraction, and beverage presentation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, customer-focused environment.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to beverage consistency.
• Comfortable handling cash and electronic payment transactions.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Professional appearance, dependable work habits, and a positive attitude.
