Job Description

A lively bar is looking for a dependable and energetic Barback to support the bartending team and help create a smooth, enjoyable experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities

• Restock beverages, ice, glassware, garnishes, and bar supplies throughout each shift.
• Keep the bar area clean, organised, and fully prepared for service.
• Collect and wash glassware while maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Assist bartenders with preparing ingredients and replenishing stock.
• Remove empty bottles, packaging, and waste promptly.
• Receive and store deliveries in designated storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies are running low.
• Support opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Work closely with the team to ensure efficient and timely service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barback or in a similar food and beverage support role is an advantage.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move bar supplies safely.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage handling is beneficial.
