Bar Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily bar operations and ensure smooth service during all shifts.
• Lead, coach, and support bartenders and bar staff.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to established standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and ordering.
• Ensure cash handling and payment procedures are followed accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the bar area.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist in scheduling staff and coordinating shift coverage.
• Support management in achieving sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender, Bar Captain, Bar Supervisor, or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, bar operations, and customer service.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Food safety or responsible alcohol service certification is an advantage.
