Bar Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a confident and motivated Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy bar. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train, motivate, and schedule bartenders and support staff.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and oversee stock control to minimize waste.
• Ensure beverages are prepared and served consistently according to established standards.
• Develop drink menus and introduce seasonal or promotional offerings.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, licensing, and health and safety regulations.
• Handle cash management, daily reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to support special events and promotions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a bar or supervising beverage operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and bar operations.
• Experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
• Ability to analyze sales reports and make informed business decisions.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
