Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise all banquet and event operations.
• Coordinate event requirements with clients and internal departments.
• Lead, train, schedule, and motivate banquet service staff.
• Ensure banquet rooms are prepared according to event specifications.
• Monitor food and beverage service to maintain quality and presentation standards.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally during events.
• Manage banquet inventories, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
• Control labour and operating costs while maximizing efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports and evaluate event performance for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing banquet operations in a hotel or similar event-focused environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of banquet setup styles, food and beverage service, and event coordination.
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple events simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel or event management systems is an advantage.
