We are seeking a highly organized and service-driven Banquet & Events Service Manager to join our hotel team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who excels at coordinating memorable events while maintaining exceptional service standards. The successful candidate will oversee banquet operations, lead event service teams, and ensure every function is delivered with precision, professionalism, and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee banquet functions, conferences, weddings, and special events from setup to completion.
• Supervise banquet and event service staff, ensuring efficient scheduling, training, and performance.
• Work closely with the kitchen, front office, and sales teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate event requirements to all relevant departments.
• Monitor service quality and ensure guests receive an exceptional experience throughout every event.
• Oversee venue setup, décor arrangements, table settings, and event breakdown.
• Manage banquet inventory, equipment, and supplies, ensuring proper maintenance and availability.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and last-minute changes professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety standards.
• Prepare operational reports, monitor event costs, and support budget management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing banquet, conference, or large-scale event service operations within a hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating with multiple departments to achieve successful event outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in banquet management systems and standard office software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, event protocols, and health and safety regulations.
