Love the smell of freshly baked pastries in the morning? We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Baker to join our café team. If you enjoy creating fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and baked treats that keep customers coming back, this could be a great fit. We’re seeking someone who takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and bringing delicious ideas to life in a busy café setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and café treats
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately to maintain quality and consistency
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product presentation
• Ensure ingredients are stored properly and kitchen equipment is cleaned after use
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the baking area
• Assist with planning daily baked items and managing stock levels
• Work closely with the café team to ensure fresh products are available throughout the day

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Baker or in a bakery, café, or kitchen environment is an advantage
• Good knowledge of baking methods, ingredients, and food safety practices
• Ability to work early shifts and manage time efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in product quality
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
