Our cozy cafe is searching for a skilled and passionate Baker who takes pride in creating fresh, high-quality baked goods that keep our customers coming back for more. From soft pastries to hearty loaves and sweet treats, your work will be at the heart of our menu.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and cafe specials
• Follow recipes while also bringing creative ideas for new baked items
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all baked goods
• Manage baking schedules to ensure fresh products throughout the day
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the baking area
• Monitor ingredient stock and report shortages when necessary
• Work closely with cafe staff to support daily service needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a baker or pastry assistant in a cafe, bakery, or restaurant
• Strong understanding of baking techniques and ingredient functions
• Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining creativity
• Good time management and ability to work early morning shifts
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Team spirit and a calm approach during busy periods
