There’s something special about the smell of fresh bread and pastries that brings people in before they’ve even looked at the menu. We’re looking for a Baker who enjoys creating that kind of everyday magic in a busy, welcoming cafe. This role is hands-on, creative, and perfect for someone who takes pride in turning simple ingredients into something memorable. From early morning dough prep to finishing pastries that make customers come back for “just one more,” you’ll be at the heart of what makes our cafe feel alive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and cafe treats daily
• Measure, mix, and handle ingredients with consistency and care
• Monitor oven timings and baking temperatures for quality results
• Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing way
• Keep the baking area clean, organized, and food-safe at all times
• Manage ingredient stock and report when supplies are running low
• Work closely with the cafe team to ensure fresh items are ready on time

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a baker or pastry assistant is an advantage
• Basic understanding of baking techniques and ingredient handling
• Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency
• Good time management, especially during busy morning hours
• A calm and focused approach in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for baking and willingness to learn new recipes
