Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Baker to join our café team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing fresh, high-quality baked goods and enjoys working in a busy, team-oriented environment where consistency and creativity matter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked items
• Follow standard recipes while maintaining quality and consistency
• Ensure all products are baked, finished, and presented to a high standard
• Manage baking schedules to ensure timely production for daily service
• Keep the baking area clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene practices
• Monitor ingredient usage and report low stock when necessary
• Collaborate with the café team to support smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a baker or in a similar kitchen role
• Good knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and flexible shifts
• Physically able to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment safely
• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team
