Our cafe is looking for a talented and dedicated Baker to create fresh, high quality baked goods that delight our customers every day. Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, muffins, cookies, and other baked products.
• Follow established recipes while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.
• Measure, mix, proof, shape, and bake doughs and batters accurately.
• Decorate and finish baked items to presentation standards.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure excellent results.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and food preparation areas.
• Ensure ingredients are stored correctly and stock levels are monitored.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Minimize waste through efficient production planning.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and cafe team to meet daily production needs.
• Assist with developing seasonal and specialty baked offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Baker in a cafe, bakery, restaurant, or similar food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food preparation methods.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of baked goods with consistent quality.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift baking supplies when required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A passion for producing fresh, high quality baked products and delivering an excellent customer experience.
