Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operation of our restaurant. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys leading teams, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient service.
• Supervise, motivate, and support front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
• Help recruit, train, and onboard new employees.
• Monitor service quality and ensure guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment when needed.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Assist with cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, and operational reporting.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth communication and timely service.
• Support the implementation of promotional activities and seasonal offerings.
• Help achieve sales targets while managing operational costs effectively.
• Ensure company policies and operating procedures are consistently followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Experience with restaurant operations, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Professional appearance with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining high operational standards.
