Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support our daily restaurant operations and help keep service running smoothly from opening through closing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Coordinate front-of-house activities to ensure efficient and friendly service.
• Supervise, motivate, and guide restaurant staff during shifts.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift assignments, and daily briefings.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve service concerns promptly.
• Monitor stock levels and work with relevant teams to reduce waste and shortages.
• Assist with sales tracking, cash handling, and daily operational reports.
• Ensure the restaurant maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation.
• Help train new employees and encourage strong teamwork across the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in restaurant or food and beverage operations.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service, food safety, and beverage operations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic knowledge of inventory, sales, and cost-control procedures.
• A positive attitude, professional appearance, and hands-on approach to teamwork.
