Assistant Bar Manager

We are looking for a proactive Assistant Bar Manager to support daily operations, inspire the team, and help create an outstanding atmosphere for every guest. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the bar to ensure efficient service.
• Supervise, motivate, and support bartenders and bar staff during shifts.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Help manage inventory, stock ordering, and supplier deliveries.
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing training.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and support accurate end-of-day reconciliation.
• Work closely with management to achieve sales targets and control operating costs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a bar.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage service standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with inventory management and stock control.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
