Accounts Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our growing coffee shop. Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process payroll and ensure timely statutory payments where applicable.
• Prepare tax documentation and coordinate with auditors when required.
• Track inventory costs and analyze financial trends.
• Develop and implement financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Supervise accounting staff and promote efficient workflow.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Manager, Accountant, or in a similar financial management role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the coffee shop, café, restaurant, or food and beverage industry is an added advantage.
