Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and business performance? We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our growing cafe. This role is ideal for someone who can maintain financial integrity, provide valuable business insights, and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting processes while supporting operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process payroll and ensure timely statutory payments.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and financial documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Oversee invoice processing and supplier payments.
• Conduct financial analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain accounting systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Support audits and implement strong internal financial controls.
• Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and business plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within a cafe, restaurant, or food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Leadership experience with the ability to supervise and support finance team members.
