We are looking for an Accountant to oversee financial records, support informed business decisions, and ensure accurate reporting. Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and oversee petty cash.
• Process invoices, payments, and supplier accounts.
• Manage payroll preparation and maintain employee payment records.
• Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support stock valuation and cost control initiatives.
• Assist with tax preparation and statutory financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent accounting qualification is an advantage.
• Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management, preferably in a coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial responsibilities effectively.
