Security Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a calm, alert, and dependable Security Officer to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be a visible and reassuring presence for our guests and staff, helping to create a safe and welcoming environment at all times. If you are observant, professional, and confident handling situations with tact and discretion, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises regularly to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property

• Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to any irregularities

• Control access points and verify visitors, contractors, and deliveries

• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns in a professional manner

• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports

• Work closely with management and other departments to maintain safety standards

• Assist guests with directions or basic inquiries when needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a security role, preferably in hospitality or a customer facing environment

• Valid security license or certification where required

• Strong observation and problem solving skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure

• Good communication skills and a professional appearance

• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response
