Security Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a calm, alert, and dependable Security Officer to join our hotel team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is observant, professional, and able to respond confidently in a variety of situations while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hotel premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property at all times
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
• Manage access control at entry and exit points
• Assist guests with directions or basic support when required, in a courteous manner
• Report suspicious activities and maintain accurate daily security logs
• Work closely with other departments to uphold safety standards across the hotel

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Physically fit and able to remain alert during long shifts
• Basic understanding of safety and emergency procedures
