Security Officer

Job Description

Our hotel is looking for a dependable and alert Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, employees, and visitors. You will play an important role in protecting hotel property, monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and ensuring security procedures are followed. If you are observant, calm under pressure, and take pride in keeping people safe, we would love to have you on the team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hotel entrances, exits, guest areas, and restricted zones.
• Conduct regular security patrols and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Assist guests and staff with security-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and incidents.
• Maintain accurate security logs and incident reports.
• Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment.
• Control access to staff-only and restricted areas.
• Support emergency evacuation and safety procedures.
• Work closely with hotel management and relevant authorities when necessary.
• Ensure hotel security policies are consistently followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel security, private security, or a related role is preferred.
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
• Physically fit and capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of emergency response and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Security training or certification is an advantage.
