Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an organised and proactive Operations Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant activities, support employees, maintain service standards, and ensure smooth operations across every shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations and coordinate activities across service areas.
• Lead, support, and monitor restaurant staff to maintain high performance standards.
• Prepare shift schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Monitor food quality, service delivery, cleanliness, and workplace standards.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure timely resolutions.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant teams to prevent shortages.
• Ensure restaurant policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines are followed.
• Review sales, operational reports, and staff performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance development.
• Communicate operational updates and challenges to restaurant management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory control, and service standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with basic reporting and restaurant management systems is an advantage.
