Our coffee shop is dedicated to serving beautifully crafted coffee while creating an engaging experience for every guest. We are looking for a talented Latte Art Specialist who combines technical barista expertise with creativity and precision. The successful candidate will take pride in producing exceptional espresso beverages, mastering milk texture, and creating visually impressive latte designs that reflect the quality of our coffee shop.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Create consistent and intricate latte art designs, including hearts, rosettas, tulips, and advanced patterns.
• Steam and texture milk to achieve the correct temperature, consistency, and microfoam quality.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, steam wands, and other coffee equipment.
• Maintain excellent beverage presentation and ensure every drink meets quality standards.
• Engage with customers and confidently explain coffee selections, preparation methods, and latte art techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic coffee preparation area.
• Monitor coffee bean quality, milk supplies, and other bar ingredients.
• Support fellow baristas with beverage preparation and technical guidance when required.
• Assist with developing new signature drinks and creative latte art presentations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a barista, latte artist, or specialist coffee professional.
• Professional barista training or certification from a recognised coffee organisation is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to produce consistent, high-quality latte art.
• Strong understanding of espresso extraction, milk steaming, coffee beans, and beverage preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Creative mindset with a genuine passion for specialty coffee.
• Knowledge of coffee equipment cleaning and basic maintenance.
