Coffee Brewer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Coffee Brewer to join our coffee shop team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing exceptional coffee, maintaining high standards, and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of coffee beverages using manual and automated brewing methods.
• Grind, measure, and brew coffee according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor coffee freshness, bean rotation, and brewing equipment performance.
• Assist customers with beverage recommendations and answer questions about coffee varieties.
• Maintain cleanliness of brewing stations, equipment, and customer service areas.
• Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Support team members during busy service periods to ensure efficient operations.
• Report equipment faults or maintenance needs promptly.
• Contribute to a positive and professional atmosphere within the coffee shop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Coffee Brewer, Barista, or in a similar beverage preparation role is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and beverage preparation.
• Ability to operate coffee brewing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product consistency.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
