Reservations Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Reservations Supervisor to lead our reservations function, ensuring every booking is handled efficiently while creating a seamless experience for guests from reservation to arrival. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant reservations desk.
• Manage reservation schedules to maximize seating capacity and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee online, telephone, and walk-in booking requests.
• Coordinate with restaurant management and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals.
• Train, coach, and support reservations team members.
• Monitor reservation accuracy and maintain up-to-date guest records.
• Handle VIP bookings, special requests, and guest concerns professionally.
• Prepare reservation reports and analyze booking trends to improve efficiency.
• Ensure reservation policies and service standards are consistently followed.
• Assist with planning for peak service periods, private events, and special occasions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant reservations, front-of-house operations, or a supervisory customer service role.
• Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
• Strong knowledge of reservation management systems and point-of-sale software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
