An organised and detail-focused Inventory Controller is needed to help maintain accurate stock records and ensure the smooth flow of food, beverages, and restaurant supplies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting efficient daily operations. Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries.
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage and stock rotation of food, beverages, and supplies.
• Track inventory movement and prepare regular stock reports.
• Work closely with the kitchen and purchasing teams to prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Investigate stock variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory management systems and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and storage standards.
• Support cost control initiatives by reducing waste and improving inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or storekeeping within a restaurant or food service environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of stock control procedures and inventory reporting.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve inventory issues efficiently.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Knowledge of food storage, stock rotation, and inventory best practices is an advantage.
