Marketing Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and organised Marketing Assistant to support the promotion of our restaurant, strengthen our brand presence, and help attract new and returning customers. Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities
• Create engaging content for social media platforms and digital marketing channels
• Support the development of promotional materials, menus, and advertisements
• Monitor social media accounts and respond to customer enquiries when required
• Coordinate with restaurant management to promote special events and seasonal offers
• Help maintain the restaurant’s website and online listings
• Track marketing campaign performance and prepare basic reports
• Conduct market research to identify customer trends and competitor activities
• Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer loyalty initiatives
• Ensure all marketing materials reflect the restaurant’s brand standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or administrative support role is an advantage
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing practices
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or similar software is beneficial
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Creative thinking with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
