Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team.
• Plan and coordinate daily housekeeping operations.
• Ensure guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and address quality concerns promptly.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
• Prepare employee schedules and manage departmental productivity.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, and equipment inventory.
• Coordinate with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
• Develop and maintain cleaning procedures that meet health and safety regulations.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns professionally.
• Prepare departmental reports and monitor operational performance.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and reduce waste without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a senior housekeeping leadership position within a hotel.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop large teams.
• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, and linen management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with housekeeping management systems is an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of workplace health, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and departmental resources effectively.
