Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items within your assigned kitchen section.
• Ensure food is consistently produced to established quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Organize daily mise en place and maintain readiness for service.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements promptly.
• Minimize food waste through effective inventory and portion control.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist in training and supporting Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
• Contribute ideas for menu improvements and seasonal specials when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to manage a designated kitchen section with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene best practices.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
