Assistant Hotel Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Hotel Manager to support the daily operations of our hotel and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role works closely with the Hotel Manager to ensure smooth coordination across departments, maintain high service standards, and uphold the property’s reputation for quality and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing day-to-day hotel operations across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments
• Support staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management
• Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and friendly service at all times
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently and courteously
• Monitor operational procedures to maintain consistency and service quality
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management initiatives
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations
• Coordinate with department heads to improve workflows and overall efficiency
• Support training and development of team members
• Prepare reports on occupancy, guest feedback, and operational performance

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management or a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and basic computer applications
• Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Relevant professional training or certification in hospitality management is an advantage
