Security Officer

Job Description

A busy restaurant is looking for a reliable and observant Security Officer to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. If you are calm under pressure, attentive to your surroundings, and take pride in keeping people and property secure, this role could be a great fit. You will be an important presence on the premises, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding areas to maintain a secure environment

• Greet guests professionally while maintaining awareness of safety concerns

• Patrol the restaurant and nearby areas at scheduled intervals

• Respond quickly and calmly to incidents or disturbances

• Assist with crowd control during busy service periods or special events

• Report suspicious activities, hazards, or incidents to management

• Ensure safety procedures and house policies are followed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, hospitality security, or a similar role is an advantage

• Strong observation and situational awareness skills

• Calm, professional demeanor when handling difficult situations

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain alert during long shifts

• Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy

• Physically capable of standing and patrolling for extended periods
