Job Description

We are looking for a professional and courteous Valet to join our restaurant team. In this role, you will welcome guests on arrival, safely park and retrieve vehicles, and ensure every guest receives a smooth and pleasant experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with vehicle drop-off and collection
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely manner
• Open vehicle and restaurant entrance doors for guests when appropriate
• Direct guests to the restaurant entrance and provide basic information when needed
• Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles and issued claim tickets
• Inspect vehicles for existing damage before parking and report any concerns
• Follow all traffic, parking, and safety procedures
• Keep the valet area clean, organised, and free from hazards
• Assist guests with luggage or personal belongings when required
• Communicate effectively with restaurant staff to ensure seamless guest service

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a valet, driver, or in a customer-facing service role is an advantage
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Confident driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and courteous attitude
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle vehicles responsibly
• Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods
