Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory management, supplier relationships, and logistics. This role is ideal for someone who can optimize operations, control costs, and ensure that quality ingredients and essential supplies are always available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support restaurant operations and business goals.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality products at competitive prices.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
• Manage purchasing activities while maintaining budget and cost control targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.
• Track deliveries to ensure orders arrive accurately and on schedule.
• Analyse supply chain performance and recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Work closely with kitchen, restaurant, and finance teams to forecast purchasing needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, storage, and procurement standards.
• Prepare reports on inventory, supplier performance, purchasing trends, and operational costs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager, or in a similar supply chain leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and supplier negotiations.
• Experience using inventory management or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and reduce operational costs.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• High level of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and supply chain best practices.
• Professional certification in supply chain, procurement, or logistics is an advantage.
