Job Description

A well-organized and energetic Hotel Steward is needed to support smooth kitchen and dining operations in a busy hospitality environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, keeping things clean, structured, and running efficiently. You will play a key part in maintaining hygiene standards and assisting the culinary and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and ensure proper storage after cleaning
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep and organization tasks
• Dispose of waste properly and ensure waste areas are clean
• Keep dishwashing stations and back-of-house areas tidy at all times
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies when needed
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures strictly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen support role is an advantage
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
• Good teamwork skills and willingness to take instructions
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle manual tasks
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness
• Reliability and punctuality are essential
