Job Description

A dynamic restaurant is seeking a talented and organized Station Chef to oversee a designated kitchen section and ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standards. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food, teamwork, and maintaining consistency during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate an assigned kitchen station efficiently.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored and rotated.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards within the station.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs.
• Assist with menu development and daily specials when required.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Train and support junior kitchen team members.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certificate, diploma, or professional training in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Station Chef, Line Cook, or similar kitchen position.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
