Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Station Chef to take charge of a specific section of our kitchen and help deliver consistently high-quality dishes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in their craft.

What you will do

  • Run and manage your assigned kitchen section efficiently during service
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards
  • Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across your workstation
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Support junior kitchen staff when needed during busy shifts
  • Monitor portion control and reduce food waste

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Station Chef in a professional kitchen
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Good attention to detail and consistency in food presentation
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a structured kitchen brigade
