Roles & Responsibilities
- Craft authentic South Indian dishes, showcasing regional specialties like dosa, sambar, and biryani with a focus on traditional methods and flavors.
- Ensure quality control by tasting and adjusting recipes to meet the highest culinary standards, maintaining consistency in every dish served.
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory management, ordering ingredients, and ensuring all food safety standards are met.
- Design and develop new recipes that innovate classic dishes, keeping up with current food trends while honoring traditional flavors.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification specializing in South Indian cuisine from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in Tamil or other South Indian languages preferred for effective communication with local suppliers and staff.
- Strong knowledge of South Indian spices, cooking techniques, and food presentation unique to the region.
