Sound Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sound Technician to join a lively bar environment where music, atmosphere, and live energy matter just as much as service. The ideal person will be confident managing live and recorded sound, ensuring every performance and playlist runs smoothly and sounds its best.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain sound equipment for live performances and daily bar music
• Manage audio levels for microphones, instruments, and playback systems
• Conduct sound checks with performers and troubleshoot issues quickly
• Monitor equipment performance and carry out basic repairs or adjustments when needed
• Coordinate with DJs, artists, and bar management to support smooth event execution
• Ensure all audio setups meet safety and technical standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a sound technician or in a similar audio role
• Strong understanding of sound systems, mixers, microphones, and amplifiers
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure
• Good communication skills when working with performers and staff
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of sound quality
