We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our cafe team. Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and light meals according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and replenished throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and stock rotation.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Keep food preparation areas, workstations, and equipment clean and organized.
• Work closely with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Deliver friendly and professional service when interacting with customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sandwich Maker, Kitchen Assistant, Deli Assistant, or in a similar food preparation role is an advantage.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to prepare food accurately while maintaining quality and speed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform routine food preparation tasks.
