Room Attendant

Job Description

A well-established hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Room Attendant to help maintain exceptional cleanliness and comfort for every guest. Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to the hotel’s quality standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas.
• Report maintenance issues, lost property, and damaged items promptly.
• Ensure corridors, service areas, and storage rooms remain clean and organised.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Respond politely and professionally to guest requests when required.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain housekeeping carts.
• Work closely with the housekeeping team to complete daily room assignments efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeper, or in a similar cleaning role within a hotel is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
