Restaurant Floor Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Floor Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations, support the service team, and ensure every guest receives a smooth, welcoming, and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with excellent hospitality knowledge and the ability to manage a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant floor operations to maintain high service standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Monitor table arrangements, reservations, seating flow, and overall dining room efficiency.
• Handle guest feedback, concerns, and special requests professionally and promptly.
• Ensure service procedures, hygiene standards, and restaurant policies are consistently followed.
• Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to improve service coordination.
• Conduct staff briefings before shifts and communicate operational updates effectively.
• Manage staff schedules, attendance, and floor assignments.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements where necessary.
• Assist with inventory checks, supply coordination, and cost-control measures.
• Support restaurant promotions, events, and special dining arrangements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant atmosphere.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in restaurant management, floor supervision, or a similar hospitality leadership role.
• Strong understanding of restaurant service operations and guest relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy dining environment.
• Experience training and developing hospitality teams.
• Good knowledge of service standards, food safety, and workplace hygiene practices.
