Restaurant Floor Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Restaurant Floor Manager who can oversee daily front-of-house operations, inspire the service team, and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the front-of-house team during daily operations.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
• Monitor dining room activities to maintain service quality and cleanliness.
• Coordinate table assignments and manage reservations effectively.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance standards.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities.
• Monitor staff scheduling, attendance, and productivity.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and control of restaurant supplies.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements where necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Experience handling guest complaints with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Proficiency in using restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
