Public Area Attendant

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to help maintain the cleanliness, comfort, and welcoming atmosphere of our hotel. This role is essential in shaping the first impression guests experience when they walk through our doors. You will be responsible for ensuring all public spaces remain spotless, fresh, and inviting throughout the day, supporting a smooth and pleasant guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and lounge spaces
• Ensure furniture, fixtures, and surfaces are dust-free, polished, and well arranged
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries and hand towels in public restrooms
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
• Assist guests politely when directions or basic support is needed
• Follow all hotel hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards consistently
• Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to keep standards high

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
• Good physical stamina and ability to be on your feet for long periods
• Basic communication skills and a respectful, friendly attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
