Job description
- Negotiates with suppliers and ensures items are ordered and approved within the specified cut-off
- Coordinates with the requestor’s correct product specifications to ensure orders are correct and follows up deliveries from suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of orders
- Continuous product sourcing to find alternative items and supplier development to obtain several sources
Qualifications
- Graduate of a degree in hospitality management, supply chain, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a luxury hotel is an asset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and understanding of purchasing principles and procedures
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and procurement platforms
