Procurement Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-focused Procurement Assistant to support smooth purchasing and supply operations in a busy restaurant environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, negotiation, and keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing food ingredients, beverages, and restaurant supplies
• Monitor stock levels and help prevent shortages or overstocking
• Communicate with approved vendors and suppliers to compare prices and quality
• Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records
• Support inventory checks and report discrepancies
• Ensure deliveries are received in good condition and match order specifications
• Work closely with kitchen and operations teams to understand supply needs

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Basic understanding of inventory or purchasing processes
• Good communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in basic record keeping and documentation
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn
• Prior experience in procurement, retail, or hospitality is an advantage
