Pool Attendant

Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Pool Attendant to help create a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for guests at our hotel pool area. The ideal person is alert, welcoming, and comfortable working in a lively hospitality environment where guest comfort comes first.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the pool area to ensure guest safety at all times
• Enforce pool rules in a polite and respectful manner
• Assist guests with towels, loungers, and basic poolside needs
• Keep the pool deck clean, tidy, and hazard-free
• Respond quickly to minor incidents and report serious concerns immediately
• Check pool water area for cleanliness and report maintenance issues
• Support lifeguards or hotel staff during busy periods
• Provide a warm and helpful guest experience

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality, recreation, or customer-facing roles is an advantage
• Basic understanding of safety awareness in water or leisure environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, calm, and attentive personality
• Ability to stay alert and active during long shifts
• Team-oriented attitude with a sense of responsibility
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and move around pool areas comfortably
