Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with late check-ins, early check-outs, and overnight enquiries.
• Perform end-of-day financial audits and reconcile daily transactions.
• Balance cash, credit card payments, and other revenue records accurately.
• Prepare and distribute daily operational and financial reports.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Monitor hotel security procedures and report any unusual incidents.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding overnight issues.
• Answer telephone calls and manage reservations as required.
• Ensure the front desk and lobby remain clean, organized, and presentable.
• Handover accurate reports and updates to the morning shift team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Night Auditor, Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar overnight role is an advantage.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems and reservation software.
• Strong numerical, bookkeeping, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight shifts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
