Night Auditor

Job Description

Our hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to oversee overnight operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure guests receive professional assistance throughout the night. The successful candidate will combine strong numerical skills with excellent customer service, supporting a smooth transition between evening and morning operations while maintaining the hotel’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily financial and occupancy reconciliations accurately.
• Process guest payments, invoices, and account adjustments.
• Review and balance transactions from all hotel departments.
• Prepare nightly audit reports and operational summaries.
• Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, requests, and enquiries.
• Monitor the hotel’s overnight activities and respond appropriately to issues.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidential information is protected.
• Communicate important overnight matters to the morning team.
• Follow hotel security, cash-handling, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in hotel front desk, night audit, accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong numerical, reconciliation, and record-keeping abilities.
• Proficiency with hotel management systems and standard office software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
• High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail.
