Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and stock workstations with ingredients, utensils, and cooking equipment before service.
• Ensure food is prepared efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining consistency.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen station.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Properly store food items and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
• Assist with receiving and inspecting food deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Support other kitchen stations when needed and contribute to overall team success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook, Cook, or in a similar kitchen role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
