IT Support Officer
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented IT Support Officer to join our hotel team. In this role, you will ensure that all technology systems run smoothly to support daily operations, guest services, and internal communications. You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting issues, maintaining systems, and providing timely technical assistance across departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment
- Monitor system performance and ensure minimal downtime across hotel operations
- Support property management systems and other hotel-specific software
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues including internet, Wi-Fi, and internal networks
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, repairs, and system updates
- Assist staff with basic IT training and guidance when needed
- Ensure data security and adherence to IT policies and procedures
- Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and advanced technical support
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with Windows and/or other operating systems
- Basic understanding of hotel management or point-of-sale systems is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
